ABOUT MARYLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Located in the heart of Mount Vernon, just two block from the Washington Monument, the Maryland Historical Society offers a unique and exciting venue for special events.

Host your wedding or event at the home of the original manuscript of The Star-Spangled Banner. Your guests can experience the most significant collection of Maryland cultural artifacts in the world while enjoying your special day.

The Maryland Historical Society has venues for hosting intimate dinners and business meetings, as well as large scale receptions and conferences.

As part of your rental, enjoy 50 parking spaces in our lot adjacent to the museum (a rare find in Mt. Vernon!).
