About MAP
Maryland Art Place (MAP) inspires, supports, and encourages artistic expression through innovative programming, exhibitions, and educational opportunities while recognizing the powerful impact art can have on our community. MAP creates a dynamic environment for artists of our time to engage the public by nurturing and promoting new ideas. MAP has served as a critical resource for contemporary art in the Mid-Atlantic since 1981.

Event Hours end at 11 pm.
Outside caterers and vendors required as we are a gallery and do not cater ourselves or have equipment.
Our current daytime (until 5pm) rental rate is for $1,200 and evening (after 5pm) rental rate is $2,200, these rental times include a 5 hour span of time: 1 hour set up, 3 event hours, 1 hour breakdown.
Additional fees include:
$500 per additional event hour
$200 per additional set up or breakdown hour.
All events must take place between 11am and 11pm, Tuesdays - Saturdays.
An insurance rider must be provided before
the event takes place.
*janitorial services are included.
