Our wedding at the Downtown Club was absolutely incredible. The staff was extremely organized and helpful throughout the planning process. They gave us a great list of preffered vendors, many of which we used and loved! The reception and cocktail hour rooms are beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. Many of our guests commented that the cocktail hour was one of the best they had ever seen. My only regret is that I did not have a chance to eat more food! The reception was beautiful and the food was wonderful! I was told by a friend who considers himself a "foodie" that it was "the best wedding chicken he had ever had". The cake was also delicious, and everyone raved about the bananas foster. We have had many people call us and tell us it was one of the nicest, most exquisite weddings they had ever been to. The location was ideal, and many of our out-of- town guests enjoyed the opportunity to see the historic section of Philadelphia. I looked at many venues while planning my wedding, and I didn't find a single place that offerred such a comprehensive reception package at such an affordable price. I recommended the Downtown Club without any reservations!
