How to Plan a Bohemian Style Wedding in South Florida

If you are planning your South Florida wedding, you may have noticed that Bohemian themes are quite popular. Accessories: This is an essential part of the look. Headpieces—metal, or lace sash reminiscent of Daisy in Gatsby or a flower crown and layered necklaces of various lengths.

Invitations: Letterpress, of course.

Florals: more wildflower-y and eclectic bouquets, garland type of flowering table runners for the bridal party

Décor: Vintage such as stacked hard cover luggage mix and match styles with the top as the wedding card holder. Candles

Farm tables or a variety of vintage tables and lounge furniture with pillows and outside rugs—or even a picnic style daytime wedding reception in South Florida! Macramé linens or macramé accents will accentuate a rustic farm table for a Bohemian themed wedding reception.

The Venue: Rustic, barn, garden, unique location or a backyard wedding suits this style well.

Gown: Embroidered long-flowing wedding dress with open toed sandals. For the bridal party, consider texture, prints in maxi-lengths and not matchy-matchy bridesmaids gowns.

Hair: Braids in any style or that tasseled hair look, all down.

The Send off: Ribbon wands for the departure.
