 | Heather & Stephen A few months after we moved to Philadelphia, and after over 5 years of dating, Stephen wanted to take me to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Friends from Texas were (supposedly)in town visiting and wanted to do the touristy thing and see Philadelphia so we were to meet them at the Art Museum at 2pm. When we arrived, we asked for directions (even though Stephen knew exactly where we were heading) to the Great Stair Hall of Tapestries where we were to meet our friends. As we climb the stairs I noticed random groups of people sitting around and thought it was peculiar-what is the art museum a hang out now? but didn't think much more of it. When we arrived at the top of the stairs we were looking all around for our friends and after a few minutes a young man standing about 25 feet away starts singing, singing loudly, singing loudly our song "My gift is your song....." and the guy next to him joins in "and this one's for you..." they were singing our song and starring right at me! Then before I know it about 15 people are signing from all over the great stair hall and walking towards us. Stephen drops to one knee and asks "Heather Caitlyn will you marry me? I dropped my purse and almost dropped completely to the floor and then said YES! The amazingly talented acapella group finished singing and the crowd in the art museum congratulated us with a roaring applause. Then, he then took me across the street to WaterWorks for lunch where he surprised me with all of his family and mine to celebrate.  | Kimberly & David My 25th birthday is hands down the best day of my life. Dave picked me up for a night full of surprises. We drove to the N.E. Philly airport, where he'd rented a private helicopter for an hour. After drinking champagne and touring the city, the pilot flew us over the Ben Franklin Bridge for one last beautiful view of the city with the sun setting behind the skyline. At that moment Dave expressed his love and asked me marry him, and I of course said YES! After our helicopter ride we drove to the second surprise- dinner at the Mushalu where both our families were waiting to celebrate! And lastly, our final surprise destination was Triumph Brewery where he'd gathered all of our closest friends to yell "surprise!" when we walked through the door.  | Jessica & Charles Chip and Jessica met with they chanced to be placed next-door to each other their Freshman year at Colgate University. Chip lived in Curtis 316 and Jessica was in Curtis 315. It only took two weeks for this couple to have their first kiss on the dance floor at the Hamilton establishment, "The Old Stone Jug." From that day, the seventh of September 2006, Chip and Jessica have been inseparable. In fact, Chip even professed his desire to marry Jessica after only two weeks of dating. Over the five years that preceding their engagement, life has taken the couple abroad to Edinburgh and London, to countless sorority formals, to five special anniversary dates and four valentine's days (one atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris). They now have their own family with their two dogs who they rescued from animal shelters in Manhattan, Bruno and Winnie.
Chip asked Jessica to marry him during a romantic picnic in a park the day after they moved into their new home in New Jersey.
