This Bed n Breakfast is beautiful. The room was large and extremely comfortable. We sat outside on the patio in the evening and enjoyed the courtyard. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. The location is wonderful being close to Little Italy, the Inner Harbor and Fells Point. We plan to stay there again.?nnn
We recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a romantic getaway in the 1840s Carrollton Inn. The Scholar's room was gorgeous with a courtyard view. Our king sized canopy bed was luxurious! The jetted soaker tub for two was relaxing and all of the many little amenities added up to make the stay exceptional. Our breakfast was brought to our room and our only complaint was that we had to leave!!! We were able to stroll to Fells Point for an afternoon of shopping and later had dinner in Little Italy - just a couple of blocks away from the Inn.n We would have never discovered these beautiful accommodations had it not been for a Groupon offer, but will definitely refer friends and hope to come back again!
We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Caton Suite with our toddler and there was enough room in the parlor area for our packnplay so that baby had his own space. The staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was so tasty every morning. We really enjoyed all of the information provided in our room about the history of the house, family members, and local area. The Inn is located within a couple blocks of the Inner Harbor area, steps from little Italy, and across the street from a shuttle stop for the free Charm City Circulator which takes you to all points around Baltimore. It was a great getaway! Just remember that this is the city, so for us suburban folks the sounds of traffic might take a little getting used to at night and early morning. But, the coffee service to our room in the morning made everything better ;)?
