Designed by Baltimore architect Edmund G. Lind, the library’s “stack room” boasts six tiers of ornamental iron-clad and gold balconies which hold over 300,000 volumes. As the third oldest existing cotton house in the United States, it has been serving Baltimore citizens since 1810. The first space, the Cocktail Room, boasts Edison light fixtures, an accent wall, and space to host up to 200 guests for a standing reception. Our final venue is Castle Farm which is a premier equestrian estate on 150 acres of Eastern Shore territory. Not only does this venue feature meticulously crafted gardens and landscaping, it offers a 22,000 square foot barn in the center of its property. The barn, complete with timber framing, copper walls, and thick mahogany doors, offers grandeur in a rustic setting.
Within its 150 acres, there are endless places to say your “I-Do’s”. Beyond these mahogany doors and barn, the wooded ceremony site features hardwood trees, dogwoods, and hollies, as well as handcrafted wooden benches that may seat up to 200 guests.
