The George Peabody Library
The first venue to make this list is the George Peabody Library. It’s a space that Johns Hopkins students and the broader Baltimore community have cherished since its opening in 1878. Designed by Baltimore architect Edmund G. Lind, the library’s “stack room” boasts six tiers of ornamental iron-clad and gold balconies which hold over 300,000 volumes. With 61-foot tall ceilings (often adorned with fairy lights), grand and extravagant atmosphere is this venue’s bread and butter; indeed, the George Peabody Library grants an experience like no other.

In addition, the adjoining exhibit library provides a quiet environment where guests may sample hors d’oeuvres and marvel at the rotating exhibits curated by Johns Hopkins. With the capacity to host 250 guests, this venue deserves a tremendous audience that can take in and admire its scholarly beauty.

Our final venue is Castle Farm which is a premier equestrian estate on 150 acres of Eastern Shore territory. Not only does this venue feature meticulously crafted gardens and landscaping, it offers a 22,000 square foot barn in the center of its property. The barn, complete with timber framing, copper walls, and thick mahogany doors, offers grandeur in a rustic setting.
Within its 150 acres, there are endless places to say your “I-Do’s”. Beyond these mahogany doors and barn, the wooded ceremony site features hardwood trees, dogwoods, and hollies, as well as handcrafted wooden benches that may seat up to 200 guests.
