In fact, once inside, you will be dazzled by some of its distinctive features such as its imported Georgian Ballroom from England with crystal Louis XV period chandeliers. Look up and you’ll see gold ceiling panels and soaring Corinthian marble columns. Then, of course, there’s Dolly Madison’s fireplace from the White House and a 14th century Italian marble fireplace.

Hill-Physick House
The four story Hill-Physick House, in Philadelphia’s Society Hill, is a remarkable Federal-style brick mansion built in 1786. This National Historic Landmark once entertained the nation’s elite in its first floor Parlor and Drawing Room where you will find French Neoclassical period pieces. These areas are more intimate and can host up to 40 seated or 75 guests cocktail style.
