Triple Crown

Located at The Radnor Hotel, Triple Crown has timeless style with a modern twist and inspiring backdrop.

Its Spring opening marks the latest venture by Fearless Restaurants just down Lancaster Avenue from sister sites White Dog Café, Autograph and Rosalie.

Triple Crown’s Secretariat is its largest event space able to host up to 110 seated. However, all spaces combined can hold up to 300 guests for a sit down or 350 cocktail style. Outside, Triple Crown is accented with an all season formal gardens featuring meandering paths and benches to take in nature. The area is a beautiful spot for wedding ceremonies or cocktail hour for example, followed by a lovely reception.

In addition, there is lodging on site. Triple Crown’s complex includes the adjacent Radnor Hotel with 173 rooms for out of town guests.

Finally, Triple Crown even offers house baked cakes. Enjoy unique flavors such as funfetti pound or more traditional options like carrot cake, vanilla and chocolate. Each is complemented by your choice of buttercream and filling. For example, there is raspberry and chocolate mousse just to name a few.

The Atrium at Terrain Gardens

Next, Terrain Events newest farmhouse inspired property is yet another experience for the senses. The Atrium at Terrain Gardens is located on the Terrain at Devon Yard campus.

Ready for its spring debut, it’s a smaller private event venue fit for intimate celebrations. For example, it’s ideal for bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and events of all kinds. Similar to its other locations, The Atrium at Terrain Gardens is full of greenery. The venue is dotted with plant life that changes with the seasons and locally sourced farm to table catering prepared inhouse.

The Atrium at Terrain Gardens offers indoor and outdoor celebrations up to 66 seated or 100 standing.

Founder’s Hall

Past the large Greek Revival columns. Founder’s Hall at Girard College is a National Historic Landmark now open for weddings and events.

Originally built in 1847, it was recently renovated to allow for private events up to 250-300 guests. In fact, it’s spacious enough to host galas and grand receptions up to 750 guests or more.

Globe Dye Works

While it’s not exactly new on the scene, Globe Dye Works debuted in 2020 in Philadelphia’s Frankford section. Not the best time to enter the world of weddings and private events. Artistic and industrial, Globe Dye Works is housed within a factory where it wound and dyed yarn for 140 years.

Now the 1865 landmark makes a unique backdrop to say I Do. History fans will enjoy industrial artifacts from its remarkable past. Choose from indoor or outdoor event spaces. In fact, Globe Dye Works boasts 12,000 square feet of event space.

Exchange vows in its ivy covered open air brick courtyard. Or instead hold your cocktail hour or reception here. Inside, you can host up to 275 guests for a cocktail party or 200 for a seated dinner.

Another gem for history lovers is the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Imagine entering the lobby while an ensemble of live musicians play among passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Next, personalize your event with historic documents related to your theme in The Reading Room. It holds 21 million historic documents. There, docents can lead your guests through the experience. The Vineyard Barn at The Inn at Grace Winery

The Vineyard Barn is ready to host special events following a three year restoration.

Adjacent to the main estate The Inn at Grace Winery, this property dates to 1770. The restoration preserved its historic integrity while adding modern amenities.

Inside, The Vineyard Barn exceeds 1,200 square feet allowing for up to 90 guests for a cocktail party or 60 guests for a seated event. However, outside additional seating is available during warmer seasons with striking views of the vineyard.
