PartySpace has provided resources to find venues and vendors for weddings and special events since 1997 when founder Jeffrey A. Miller expanded on a catering service that he launched from his University of Pennsylvania dorm room. Since then, we have since expanded into Baltimore, New Jersey, and southern Florida. Delaware promises to be an exciting new location with many options for local and destination weddings.

Claymont, DE Venue: The Patio at Archmere Academy
The mansion at Archmere Academy known as “The Patio” or “The Castle of Dreams” is a premier PartySpace venue for elegant private events. The Patio at Archmere Academy is on the Delaware River and can handily accommodate up to 175 guests.

Winterthur, Delaware Venue: Winterthur Museum

As well as premier venue on PartySpace, Winterthur is featured on Atlas Obscura, a guide site for unique and whimsical places to see. An 1837, 175-room mansion preserved as a museum, it is perfect for indoor and outdoor weddings. It’s pronounced “winter-tour” if that gives you any ideas about what dates you should book for a visit.

Wilmington, Delaware Venue: Bellevue Hall
Located in Bellevue State Park, Bellevue Hall played its role in hosting the reception for this beautiful Delaware love story. Before it was Bellevue Hall, it was Woolton Hall castle and then DuPont Estate. Clearly, this stately mansion has a long history, perfect for a historian like that Delaware bride or one looking to have a fairytale wedding.
