Save-the-Date cards can be a fun way to give your guests an early heads-up about your wedding without the usual formal style of a proper invitation. They are something you can have more fun with! If you want to get a little more creative with your save-the-date cards but are struggling for ideas, here are some to get you started.

If you have a pet- or more than one!- consider incorporating them into your save-the-date cards. It could be fun to include fido in your invitation, and everyone loves pictures of our favorite four-legged family members, right?
Consider including a favorite hobby or something you both enjoy doing together in your save-the-date cards. Are you both coffee lovers? Use coffee cups, such as in the picture above. Music lovers? A picture of two of you each holding an old record personalized with your event's details would be adorable.
If you're throwing a holiday-themed or seasonal event, or even if the pictures you are using for your save-the-date cards were taken at a specific time of year, consider incorporating that theme. Are you having a fall wedding, or were your pictures taken on a beautiful October weekend? Perhaps consider incorporating pumpkins. A holiday wedding? Snow, snowmen, Candy canes, elf hats, and holiday greenery would all be appropriate.
Are you obsessed with fun designs or prints such as polka dots, chevron, or fretwork? Consider including your favorite design into your save-the-dates. That would be a great way to personalize them! Your New Jersey vendor might have other ideas for fun designs.
If you love board games, consider using one of those in the design for your save-the-dates. The details spelled out using the tiles for Scrabble, for instance, would be a fun idea!
