Good Ol Lip Balm- More Uses Than 1!!

Looking to spruce yourself up mid-day, but there's nothing in your purse but lip balm?? have no fear!

1.) Cuticle softener –Lip balms made with super-moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil make perfect cuticle softeners.  Next time you notice your cuticles looking dry and cracked, just dab a small amount of lip balm onto them and massage with your fingers.  Your nails will thank you!

2.) Brow tamer – If your brows tend to be on the unruly side, turn to lip balm to tame them.  Simply dab some along your brow line and brush your brows into place with a clean spoolie (it’s one of my favorite quick beauty tools).  This will tame your brows without the stiff, “crunchy” finish of some brow gels.

3.) Skin moisturizer – Elbows and knuckles feeling a bit dry? Rub some lip balm on them! The moisturizing properties of lip balms make them the perfect solution for dry, cracked joints.  Just make sure your lip balm contains the right ingredients – some balms that contain menthol, camphor and phenol may feel nice and cooling at first, but all they do in the end is dry your skin out even more.

4.) Cheek stain – Skip the powder blush and swap in your favorite tinted lip balm instead.  Simply use your finger to lightly pat the balm along your cheekbones, focusing on the apples of your cheeks. The result? A natural, dewy, glow-from-within kiss of color to your cheeks.
