Herb Scott Catering recently became associated with 3 New Venues - The Powel House, The Physick House, and Grumblethorpe - and we've fallen in love with them all. Not only are our new venues beautiful in every way, but they also have fascinating histories.

The Powel House welcomed so many historic guests, including John Adams, Benjamin Rush, Marquis de Lafayette, and Ben Franklin and his daughter! Philadelphia's mayor Samuel Powel even hosted George and Martha Washington's 25th Anniversary Party there in 1784. Believe it or not, a window from Thomas Jefferson's house is now in the Physick House, where "The Father of American Surgery" once lived. And Grumblethorpe, located in historic Germantown, is a beautiful farmstead that once housed an important American family.
