Stotesbury Mansion is not only regal, having entertained former United States Presidents, movie stars, and socialites, among other guests but it has quite a history. It is owned by the Philopatrian Literary Institute and is registered by the Rittenhouse Square Historic District as well as on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1870 by architect Wilson Eyre, Jr., it is one of the last remaining Rittenhouse Square mansions. Weddings and events at Stotesbury Mansion are guaranteed to be distinctive.
