Breathtaking would be the one word I would use to describe my wedding at the Penn Museum. While all newlyweds aspire for an evening to remember, my husband and I wanted to also offer an experience worth traveling halfway across the country to have. Without a doubt, our guests were transported when they walked into the Lower Egyptian Gallery enjoying cocktails and h?ors d?oeuvres under the watchful eyes of the Spynhx. The journey through our night continued as our guests climbed the staircase to the Upper Egyptian Gallery and dined where West meets East in the Chinese Rotunda. As our friends and families mingled amidst the blending of the two hemispheres we could not believe how transcendent an evening the setting had offered us. Dancing the evening away alongside sarcophagi only enhanced the magic and mysticism of the night!
