I went for a girls day out and had a blast. The service was fantastic. Everyone was polite and we were well taken care of. We had the formal tea...I enjoyed the scones and lemon curd, the soups were delish as were the tea sandwiches. The only one I didn't like was the egg salad, but then again I am not a fan of egg salad. We both enjoyed the Pumpkin spice tea. It was a great afternoon out!
Very charming home converted to the Tea Room. Small charming tables with lace, flowers and china. There were many china pieces and tea pots on display on the cupboards around the lobby and dining rooms. Some were for sale. The was a large variety of teas for sale. There is a separate menu for the teas, and they make a homemade iced tea if that is your preference. My friend had the iced tea and found it very refreshing. I had the black peach and ginger tea. It was brought to the table in a pot, which filled my tea cup 4 times. When it was brought to the table, it came with a salt filled egg timer to let me know when it was ready to pour, and the aroma and taste were delicious. The sandwiches looked very luscious, and I will be ordering one of them on my next visit. The tea room caters to baby and bridal showers. It would be a nice setting for both.
