Old Davie School is a beautiful historic campus for all special occasions. Originally built in 1918, it is the oldest permanent school in Broward County. 

Enjoy an outside cocktail hour under our authentic Seminole Chickee Hut, or dance the night away in the schoolhouse. Prepare for your big day in our historic bridal suite, and dance the night away in the school house, circa 1918 or the cafetorium, circa 1951. The Amphitheature and park grounds are perfect for the wedding ceremony.

Many settings are available for wedding portraits throughout the school and 10 acre property. Outside caterers are accepted. Plenty of time is provided so that you may decorate the space and make your dream party a reality. The Old Davie School's staff is dedicated to making your special event, be it wedding, graduation, birthday, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or retirement, a day to remember.

Old Davie School Historical Museum offers a unique, historic venue.  The auditorium holds up to 175 people and comes with round tables and mahogany chivari chairs.  It rents for $3000 for a 4-hour weekend event.  In addition, you get set up time prior to your event and an hour after to clean up.  There is a chickee hut on the patio and it is included with this room rental.  Additional time can be purchased for $350/hour.  Outside caterers are allowed. 

We also have the cafetorium available for $400 for a 2-hour weekend event.  Additional hours available @ $200/hour.  The capacity of this room is 150 people and rectangle tables and banquet chairs are supplied.

To hold the date – a 50% deposit is required.  No later than 30 days prior to your event the balance of the contract is due + applicable refundable security deposit.  The renter is required to supply general liability insurance and include host liquor liability if alcohol is being served.
