Corradetti Glassblowing is a 3,400-square-foot glassblowing studio in the heart of historic Clipper Mill. It is the hot spot for private parties and receptions.
About
The space offers a contemporary design infused with old-world charm. Corradetti reflects an industrial look. It features ceilings over 20 feet high, exposed brick walls, bamboo hardwood flooring, and large windows. In fact, these windows overlook a modern pool fashioned after a Roman bath.
The Clipper Mill complex has won numerous architectural awards for its historic renovation. In fact, the glass studio is at the center of it all - a fabulously unique wedding venue in Baltimore that will leave a lasting impression.
In addition, a Corradetti Glassblowing rental includes the gallery level full of vibrant blown glass artwork all made onsite. Furthermore, exciting glassblowing activities can be customized for your group for an additional fee.
Amenities
An elevated stage at one end of the space allows for small ceremonies, acoustic (no electric) band, or DJ. In fact, you may also plug your iPod into our sound system. The built-in bar, glass sculptural elements, and hanging party lights shown are permanent fixtures. The glowing glass furnace adds to the charm. Additional decor is not necessary in this rustic, artistic interior.
Location
Corradetti is in Baltimore's historic mill area in Woodberry. It's a great location. In fact, it's easily accessible from Route 83 or the Woodberry Light Rail stop.
Capacity
- Full seated dinner: seats up to 75 guests
- Most common is a cocktail-style buffet reception, tables, and chairs for about half -- holds up to 95 guests
- Standing reception with tall cocktail tables -- holds up to 110 guests (500. surcharge for over 95)
Additionally, the space is an open floor plan. To allow room for a seated ceremony beforehand or dance floor after dinner, talk to your caterer. They may have ideas about how to rearrange seating for your vision.
Timing & Rates
Events include 4 hours for the reception. Extra time is provided for the caterer and vendors. Evening events are scheduled anytime between 5 pm and 11 pm. Inquire about daytime availability.
