The Delaware Center for Horticulture

Conveniently located in the heart of Wilmington’s Trolley Square, our Center is a lush oasis of green in a city setting. Our thoughtfully designed back garden includes a wood pavilion adjacent to the landscape of Brandywine Park. Surrounded by mature trees and native plants, our Garden Pavilion is the perfect space for your private outdoor ceremony. Additionally, our newly redone front entrance courtyard creates more outdoor gathering options, which can be tented. Inside, our Founders’ Room showcases exposed beams, hardwood floors, and over-sized windows. Just off the Founders’ Room is the Infinity Green Roof; a unique setting for cocktail hour where your guests can take in the beautiful views overlooking the back garden. Our structurally stunning building with the added beauty of native plants makes the DCH a perfect fit for your next event.

The Founders’ Room at DCH serves as the main gathering space for lectures, meetings, dinners, workshops, fundraisers, and receptions. The space features exposed beams, wooden floors, high speed WI-FI, and a green roof overlooking DCH’s Demonstration Garden.

DCH’s Demonstration Garden and Pavilion is a delightful space for ceremonies, receptions, and outdoor meetings. Access our gardens from Conaty Park or a path to Brandywine Park.
