Lakeside Vows and Fireside Celebrations
The Lake House at Indian Trail Club is a waterfront wedding venue in Franklin Lakes, Bergen County, overlooking a 100-acre spring-fed lake. Lakeside ceremonies, terraces, and a ballroom with opening glass doors keep the water connected to the celebration.
The Lake House hosts one wedding at a time and is available to non-members.
Event Spaces & Capacity
Lake House Ballroom: Accommodates up to 240 guests with a dance floor or 325 without dancing. Opening glass doors and windows connect the indoor setting with the outdoors.
Lakeside ceremony space: Couples can exchange vows beside the water, weather permitting.
Pre-reception room and bar/lounge: Dedicated indoor spaces give guests room to mingle during cocktail hour.
Lake-view terraces: Outdoor gathering areas overlook the water, offering another setting for cocktails and conversation.
Four fireplaces throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces add warmth to the setting.
Catering
The Executive Banquet Chef and culinary team prepare all food on-site; outside caterers are not permitted. Reception options include plated, buffet, and station-style menus.
The stations reception includes passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktail-hour stations, dinner stations, a custom wedding cake, and a barista bar. Beverage service includes a top-shelf open bar, champagne toast, and tableside wine service.
Guest Experience
A private bridal room includes an en suite restroom, comfortable seating, storage cubbies, refrigeration, and beverages. Dogs are welcome to participate in the celebration with advance notice.
The club provides linens and votive candles, with place cards available upon request. Reception staffing includes one server for every two tables and one bartender per 50 guests.
