A New Jersey Wedding Venue with a Grand Entrance

The Legacy Castle is a wedding venue in Pompton Plains, Morris County, New Jersey, set on 42 acres with natural lakes, gardens, and outdoor terraces. Built in 2017, the family-owned venue pairs castle architecture with full-service event facilities. Inside, a double floating staircase rises beneath a 55-foot-high entrance ceiling, with Italian marble and hand-painted gold detailing throughout.

Event Spaces & Capacity

Three ballrooms and two smaller ceremony rooms offer options for different guest counts and celebration styles.

• Grand Legacy Ballroom: A 15,000-square-foot reception space with 39-foot barrel-vaulted ceilings and six crystal chandeliers. Accommodates approximately 300–900 guests, with larger arrangements possible depending on the floor plan. A dividing wall creates a smaller setting for receptions under 450 guests.

• Windsor Ballroom: A 5,000-square-foot room with a built-in marble dance floor, suited to receptions of approximately 100–200 or more guests, depending on the layout.

• Kingston Ballroom: Accommodates approximately 100–240 or more guests and features a marble dance floor, built-in stage, and skylight above the stage.

• Mayfair and Bristol Rooms: Indoor ceremony options for approximately 100–200 guests, also used to extend cocktail-hour space.

• Outdoor ceremony spaces: The lakeside Peninsula and second-floor Legacy Terrace provide open-air settings for exchanging vows.

Guest Experience

Each ballroom has its own balcony, giving guests an outdoor gathering space during cocktail hour or the reception. The gardens, marble fountain, lakeside Peninsula, and entrance staircase offer distinct locations for portraits without leaving the property.
