History & Event Spaces

The Globe Dye Works building dates back to 1865 when it served as a factory dyeing yarn and thread until 2005. In 2007, the building was remodeled, keeping much of the original architecture in place and including unique objects from the past. The event space was built out of the boiler room, making it a top choice for fans of cinema and photography.

Globe Dye Works can host weddings of most sizes since there are several areas within the event space to customize your perfect day. Say I DO or toast during cocktail hour in the courtyard surrounded by ivy-covered brick and concrete splashes. Cut the cake underneath the photogenic neon sign. Dance it up with your close friends near the grandma bleachers. Whatever your heart desires!

Inside, you will love its high ceilings, shades of faded and exposed brick that line the walls, metal rafters, piping and large windows. There is a stage perfect for entertainment, as well as a lounge area in the back to host unique activities. The gallery has tall, white walls, which allows couples endless possibilities to decorate, and a chance for our in-house production team, Lucky Dog Studios, to really shine.

Capacity & Catering

Max capacity for cocktail-style events is 275 while a seated dinner can host up to 180 guests. No wedding here looks the same! We encourage everyone to add their flare to our space and make it their own.

Globe Dye Works features five preferred caterers to choose from: Garces, DiBruno Bros, Sage, Feast Your Eyes, and 12^th Street Catering. We are a BYO venue.
