About Osteria:

Since opening in 2007, Osteria has become one of the country’s most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants, earning Chef Jeff Michaud the 2010 James Beard foundation award for “Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic” for his work helming the kitchen.

Signature dishes include chicken liver rigatoni with cipollini onions and sage; the lombarda pizze with baked egg, bitto cheese, mozzarella and cotechino sausage; and the tomahawk pork chop for two.

Our family-style approach to dining allows guests to enjoy a wide selection of Osteria specialties from our free-flowing kitchen.

Osteria is a unique Philadelphia wedding venue. Classically designed to have a warm, evocative aesthetic in an industrial setting, osteria’s spacious dining room, glass-enclosed patio and private dining rooms—including a chef’s table—make it the perfect place for occasions of all scopes and sizes, whether it’s a quiet night out with friends and family, or a boisterous celebration with dozens of guests.

The Glass Greenhouse (Seats: 65)

The glass-enclosed patio at Osteria boasts a view of our garden and the beautiful stained glass windows of the church next door. The room can accompany up to 65 people comfortably.

As with our other private dining services, the groups dine in a family style manner and arrange the menu in advance of the date. Our family style approach allows guests more variety with each course and encourages interaction through sharing. Dietary restrictions are no issue.

The Wine Room (Seats: 35)

The wine room, named for its view into Osteria’s wine cellar, seats up to thirty-five people. As with our other private dining services, groups eat family style and arrange the menu in advance of the date.

Our family-style approach allows guests more variety with each course and encourages interaction through sharing. We can customize the dinner by adding passed or stationary stuzzichini (appetizers), an intermezzo course, or an assortment of biscotti after dessert.

The Kitchen Table (Seats: 14)

Experience dining with the intimacy of your family and friends.

Entire Restaurant (120 seated / 150 standing)

The entire restaurant is also available to be rented for an event. This option is excellent for largest groups, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. We offer rentals both in the morning and evening, perfect for weddings and showers alike. The entire restaurant rental includes the main dining room, our greenhouse, kitchen table, and wine room, as well as the outdoor patio (if requested).
