A Chestnut Hill Wedding Venue with Lawn Views and Ballroom Character

The Philadelphia Cricket Club is a Philadelphia wedding venue in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia County, offering indoor and outdoor celebrations at its St. Martins clubhouse. Located on West Willow Grove Avenue, the property pairs a historic ballroom with outdoor cocktail-hour space overlooking the Great Lawn.

The setting gives the day a natural progression: vows indoors or outside, drinks with a view of the grounds, then dinner and dancing in the ballroom. It is a Philadelphia address with room to step outside and exhale.

Event Spaces & Capacity

Wedding celebrations take place at the St. Martins Clubhouse where the historic Ballroom and outdoor spaces overlooking the Great Lawn bring different settings to each part of the day.

• Ballroom: White French doors open into a reception room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Great Lawn, white columns, and high arched ceilings. A restored stage accommodates your band or DJ, while a hardwood dance floor anchors the evening. Sample floor plans show reception arrangements for 150, 180, and 225 guests.

• Outdoor cocktail-hour space: Guests can gather overlooking the Great Lawn before moving into the Ballroom for dinner and dancing.

• Ceremony settings: Indoor and outdoor options allow couples to exchange vows at the club. The Ballroom can also serve as the rain backup for an outdoor ceremony.

The club hosts one wedding per day. Your final guest capacity depends on the reception layout and entertainment setup.
