A Maryland Wedding Venue Surrounded by Nature
Howard County Conservancy is a Woodstock, Howard County, Maryland wedding venue featuring 232 acres of protected woodlands, meadows, and gardens, with indoor and outdoor celebrations for up to 150 seated guests.
A Wedding With a Wild Side
Some wedding venues have beautiful gardens. Howard County Conservancy has 232 acres of them, along with forests, historic farm buildings, and a few feathered residents who might make an appearance.
Located at historic Mt. Pleasant, just outside Columbia and Ellicott City, this countryside retreat combines natural beauty with thoughtful, environmentally conscious design.
Couples can exchange vows in a native plant garden, beside a historic barn, or surrounded by trees before celebrating in a light-filled reception room overlooking the landscape.
And for couples who appreciate a little personality, the Conservancy even offers an optional owl meet-and-greet during cocktail hour.

Catering: Your Menu, Your Choice
Howard County Conservancy allows couples to select their own licensed, full-service caterer, subject to venue approval.
The Conservancy provides a preferred vendor list featuring event professionals familiar with the property, but couples aren't limited to that list. Outside caterers must provide proof of insurance and agree to the venue's event policies.
The Conservancy's sustainability guidelines prohibit single-use plastics and Styrofoam, making it an appealing option for couples who want their celebration to reflect their environmental values.
