Ancient Spanish Monastery

North Miami Beach, Florida

Create your very own history with your wedding or special event at Ancient Spanish Monastery, the oldest building in the western hemisphere.

Ancient Spanish Monastery is a historic wedding venue in North Miami Beach featuring chapel weddings, garden weddings and receptions.

There are three unique chapels to choose from: The Main Chapel, The French Alter and The Chapter House; each beautiful in their own way.

Garden weddings boast more than 20 acres of rare tropical foliage. Its landscaped grounds feature a 12 Century Romanesque and Gothic building ideal for a unique and historic backdrop. There are five captivating outdoor areas for weddings including The Loggia, The Prayer Well, Banyan Tree, Saviour Garden, and St. John Garden.

For receptions, imagine your celebration within The Gardens, The Loggia, or The Cloisters (covered passageways that surround an outdoor courtyard).
