Our event space features a mix of “old meets new” with the beautiful charm of the early 1900’s, perfectly blended with contemporary touches throughout the hotel. Surrounded by the original, exposed brick façade, our fifth- floor Atrium boasts a 75’ glass ceiling and is certainly our most unique, contemporary space for a cocktail reception. The Abele Library features the original Tiger Oak walls, built-in bookshelves, two working fireplaces, and stunning views of City Hall as your backdrop. Our Trumbauer Ballroom showcases the original plasterwork, white canvas walls that highlight your lighting design, wrought iron chandeliers enveloped by oversized lampshades, plus a stage for your entertainment’s performance.

We had our dream wedding here at the Le Meridien Philadelphia. It is the perfect location for a chic city wedding in the heart of downtown, walking distance to so many great Philly destinations. What made our wedding extra special was the highly attentive hotel staff - they were in tune with our every want and need and made each of our guests feel like VIP's. Our Catering Sales Manager Amanda C. worked with us on every detail of the wedding to make sure it was just flawless. Also on staff that snowy evening was Adam D., the Banquet Manager; Sonny I., the Executive Chef, and Michael Y., the General Manager - they all made sure the event was perfect! I highly recommend a Winter Wedding for any brave bride who wants magical and cinematic wedding photos in the snow. And to me, the best hotel in the city to compliment that is the warm and sophisticated Le Meridien Philadelphia
