The Inn of Cape May: Victorian Weddings by the Shore

The Inn of Cape May is a Cape May, New Jersey wedding venue set inside a landmark Victorian hotel established in 1894. Just steps from the beach, the property combines historic architecture, oceanfront character, a ballroom, on-site dining, and guest accommodations in one location.

Event Spaces & Capacity

Couples can use several distinct spaces throughout the celebration:

• The Ballroom for up to 140 guests

• Ocean 7 Private Dining for up to 65 guests

• The Pre-Function Room for up to 60 guests

• Oceanfront and porch areas that add to the coastal setting

The spaces can be used individually or in sequence, which gives couples flexibility for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding brunch.

Catering & Guest Experience

Catering is handled in-house by the Ocean 7 culinary team, with seasonally inspired menus tailored to the event. Rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches can also be incorporated into the weekend.

The Inn has 51 individually appointed guest rooms, allowing couples to keep the wedding party and out-of-town guests under one roof and close to the beach.
