Knowlton Mansion

Built in 1881 by famous Victorian architect Frank Furness, this fully restored mansion features original antique furnishings. You will find richly colored stained glass windows, and oriental rugs. In addition, there is an impressive art collection, ornately-carved mantelpieces and geometrically patterned woodwork throughout.

New Conservatory

Furthermore, the new conservatory addition includes glass skylights, 35-foot vaulted ceilings, a center cupola, and intricate woodwork to mirror his original designs. In fact, the conservatory has received recognition from the American Institute of Architects. It features spacious cocktail terraces, a pergola for wedding ceremonies, and thirteen acres of exquisite perennial gardens.
