The lovely Colonial Dames PA Headquarters House on Latimer Street is a beautiful location for your Philadelphia wedding.

About

It was designed by renowned Colonial Architects, Ritter and Shay, and was completed in 1921. The inside is painted in authentic colonial colors and beautifully decorated with period antiques, vintage paintings, and historical artifacts.

Event Space & Capacity

The House exudes a personality, style, and warmth unprecedented in the Philadelphia area and provides a unique venue for your next event.

In addition, Colonial Dames can comfortably host small, intimate gatherings for 10 to 50 guests in several finely appointed downstairs rooms. Also, it can host up to 120 guests for a reception in its beautiful upstairs ballroom. In fact, the upstairs of the House is fully air-conditioned for comfort during summer months.

Reviews

We cannot sing the praises of the NSCDA for our wedding venue enough. Tucked in to downtown Philadelphia is this beautifully maintained historic home with a gorgeous garden and an impeccable ballroom that you are not sure how they fit in to that house. Adrianna was amazing to work with and was flexible and responsive at all times. The venue makes throwing a party or wedding incredibly simple with the well maintained spaces and their own set of outdoor chairs for ceremonies and indoor tables and chairs for receptions. We could not have been any luckier to stumble upon this venue for our wedding day - the NSCDA made it truly a day to remember!

We were so happy to be married here. As soon as we walked in, we knew we had to be married there. If you want a wedding in Philadelphia for about 100 people, with historic charm and some outdoor space, it is worth checking their availability. We booked it 18 months out, and the weekend we originally wanted was already taken. It worked out in the end, weather-wise. They don't have a very good webpage, but our photographers, Love Me Do, have good photos on their blog. You can find them that way. Everyone was impressed with the space. It's incredible. Consider it a must-see.
